Our aim is to create a get away that would enable women to focus on themselves and have some ‘me’ time but also improve their health, fitness and wellbeing with other like-minded people – and have fun in the process!
Triathlete Adrian Jones
Adrian has been a passionate runner for 25 years, racing in events around the world. He’s competed in 11 Iron Man triathlons, the ultimate test of endurance, his highlight was to compete in the legendary Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.
Adrian recently turned his love of running to the trails having completed 3 marathons over 5 months. He’s drawn to running “because of its pure simplicity.” Running helps you to lose weight, lower blood pressure and cholesterol and improve your mood.
Boxer Cornelius Carr
Cornelius Carr is a former British and World Middleweight Boxing Champion. Turning pro at the age of 18, he signed with Frank Warren and has been boxing for 30 years (he was even the body double for Hollywood actor Daniel Day Lewis in the film ‘The Boxer’ and appeared in Morrissey’s video ‘Boxers’). Cornelius runs a successful boxing academy in Bournemouth teaching boxing to many enthusiasts, including classes for women which is experiencing a huge surge in interest. He’ll be holding a boxing master class to teach and improve your pad, abs and leg work skills, which is great for cardiovascular training and body strengthening. Personal instructors Paul & Robert
There will always be 2 personal instructors on each course – Paul & Robert have proven track records as being Special Forces Trained and having served in the UK and abroad, managed gyms, health clubs, outdoor fitness companies and sports teams. They have specialist experience in a huge variety of physical activities and are fully dedicated to improving your physical fitness, taking a keen interest in your progress during the course. They’re very approachable and are there to push and motivate you to help you achieve your fitness goals. It’s a necessary requirement that our trainers have knowledge of nutrition so that they’re in the best position to advise you on how healthy eating fits in with exercise. All our instructors are qualified in Sports Nutrition.
Nutritionist Emma Jones
Emma Jones is our in-house nutritionist and dietician. She’s an experienced practitioner of Naturopathic Nutrition, having worked in this field for 15 years. After graduating from the College of Natural Nutrition, she lectured in colleges all over the UK before setting up the first Naturopathic Nutrition training college in Wales.
Emma runs a busy practice giving clients advice on achieving optimum health. She is a regular columnist for ‘Positive Health’ magazine and a nutritional coach for the professional rugby team The Ospreys. Emma is passionate about helping people to value the effect of diet on overall health and being and believes the key to a healthy body and mind is related to the food and drink we consume.
Yoga teacher Kellie Bukovets
Our yoga instructor Kellie began practising yoga 18 years ago with the British School of Yoga. When all else failed after a debilitating illness, yoga brought her body back to health.
Yoga improves flexibility and tone and helps to prevent stress and increase mental focus, at the same time improving digestion and aiding muscle detoxing. Holistic therapist Claire Viader 
Claire is our holistic therapist specialising in natural treatments including Indian head massage and reflexology - she’ll make sure you’re pampered and spoilt! Indian head massage improves circulation, aids restful sleep and relieves stress. Reflexology reduces physical and emotional tension and has a powerful healing effect on the body, helping sufferers of many health conditions and illnesses. Claire is a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies and The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.
Life coach Julie Britton
Julie Britton is a highly trained Life Coach and Personal Development Trainer with 10 years experience helping and changing the lives of her clients, many of them high-profile including Harrods, British Airways, Planet Organic London, Whole Foods London and The Ospreys, the Welsh Rugby Union team. She’ll help you to increase your self-esteem and examine any thoughts or habits preventing you from moving forward so your general well being is improved – everyone needs a Julie!
