What kind of people attend the course?
A wide variety! Some are stuck in a rut and need a kick start from their sedentary lifestyle; others need to regain their confidence or shift pregnancy weight whilst others are preparing for their wedding or holiday.  Some just want to have some time out.  Whatever your reason for attending, you will feel positively different afterwards!

How many people attend each course?
There are a maximum of 12 people on each course so that all clients receive plenty of individual attention and benefit from great results.

What’s included in my stay?
Everything except your personal belongings - there will be no added extras.  We do recommend that you have your own personal travel and cancellation insurance to be on the safe side.

What will I need to bring with me?
You will be sent a kit list upon booking to make sure you bring suitable clothing but don’t worry it doesn’t have to be expensive.  We provide all other equipment such as yoga mats, fit balls, heart rate monitors, etc.

What is your average weight loss?
This can depend on a number of factors such as your general fitness levels and BMI.  Sometimes clients lose more than they thought whilst others lose inches and add on muscle – and everyone definitely feels more toned and refreshed! You will be taking part in activities and exercises for approx 6 hours per day so the course will be strenuous although no-one is forced to do anything they don’t want to do. Most importantly, we give you the tools and techniques so that you can keep your weight off when you get home. Weight loss has almost become a by-product for our clients, they take away a lot more knowledge with them than how to lose those pounds!

Is the course suitable if I haven’t exercised for some time or I’m overweight?
Yes it is – our personal trainers will assess your fitness level and although you won’t be forced into doing anything you don’t want to, you will be motivated and pushed to do your best! You will be divided into different groups and receive personal attention from all the staff members to make sure you get the most out of your stay.

I am a healthy size and weight, is the course still suitable for me?
Of course, we have plenty of women who attend the course to maintain their fitness levels and take part in all the varied exercises and activities.

What’s involved in the health and nutrition assessment?
A full comprehensive range of assessments including calculating your BMI, body measurements, body fat and heart rate. We are also the only boot camp to include food intolerance testing, facial and tongue analysis which will reveal so much about what foods agree (and disagree) with you. You’ll also discuss your personal fitness goals with the trainers and there will be a nutrition workshop which will examine your eating habits and how to make effective changes to your daily diet.

I have a medical problem, can I still attend the course?
You will need to bring a signed letter of permission from your doctor; please also state any medical history and conditions on the medical questionnaire in your booking form.  There will always be a First Aid qualified professional on the course and access to a local physiotherapist and doctor if needed.

What will the food be like?
We try our hardest to ensure that the ingredients are organic and locally sourced where possible.  All meals will be wheat and dairy free so that you can fully benefit from the detox experience.  Your diet will be rich in protein, fibre and more than your 5 a day! You will also be having fruit, salad and snack bars to keep you going. Our recipes and menus can be easily replicated for when you get home.

What is the accommodation like?
We have spent some time sourcing contemporary accommodation that’s a home from home so you will be spoilt! We offer a variety of single, double and twin rooms, some en-suite and others with shared bathrooms.  Most women come on their own and are happy to share with others as it’s a great way of making friends. Mobile and wi-fi reception is available but as we are in the country it may be intermittent at times!

I’m afraid that all the hard work will be lost after I get home
That’s a very natural sentiment which most clients feel which is why we’re very proud about our structured after care service.  We strongly believe that your time with us is not a ‘quick fix’ and that we will constantly be in touch with every single client  to see how they are getting on and if they need any help.  You will be part of our ‘Renewed Fitness Club’ where you’ll have access to recipe and exercise ideas, regular newsletters, special offers, calendar reminders, videos and opportunities to join us at reunion days! Don’t forget that our highly trained and experienced team are only a phone call away if you have any questions, either before, during or after your time with us.
