Drew is shortlisted for the ‘Female Entrepreneur’ Award!

Hi all,
Chuffed to have found out that Drew is a Finalist in the Best Female Entrepreneur Category at the South Wales Business Awards taking place later this year. We were Finalists in the awards last year in the ‘Best Start-Up Category’ and had a great night. We’re all looking forward to the event and will let you know the results!
Drew has also been invited by the UK Female Entrepreneurship Ambassadors initiative to be the Welsh Ambassador, which is a programme designed to encourage women in business and will involve taking part in projects and media engagements throughout the UK and Europe.
In other news, we have a waiting list for the next available course, if anyone is interested please email us and we can add you to our list.

Latest summer news

Ooops…we’ve been a bit quiet recently, what with our recent courses, a new venue, some new seasonal menus off the ground plus writing for a new business magazine!
Our recent June course saw another bunch of ladies (old and new) join us in our new venue in Hay-on-Wye where highlights included the PT sessions, boxing, the hikes taking in the countryside, the pampering treatments from our holistic therapists and the large dining area!

We’re back from our April & May course!

… And what a great course it was! Another bunch of lovely ladies, from as far away as Norway and Afghanistan, that got on really well and we had great feedback from them too.
Highlights included the sunny weather in Herefordshire, the holistic pampering treatments, the personal training sessions, the calming effects of the yoga session (which was needed after the hikes!) and the boxing, which is always a firm favourite.

We’re winners of the Welsh Women Mean Business Awards 2011!

Renew Fitness are very proud to be winners of the ‘Best Female Business Newcomer’ Award at the prestigious Welsh Women Mean Business Awards!
This was a tough category with 7 other finalists so we’re extremely happy to have won. The judging panel were amongst some of Wales’ leading female entrepreneurs and business owners so it was a great moment for us.
A big thanks to all the team and clients for their continued support, it’s great to win recognition for all our achievements in the health and fitness sector since we established in early 2010.

Also on the night, we were lucky to meet Allegra McEvedy (MBE), celebrated chef, broadcaster, writer and co-founder of LEON, the healthy fast-food restaurant group, a great inspiration to us all.

News from our March 2011 course

We’ve just returned from another successful course in Herefordshire,where highlights included hiking in the gorgeous sunshine, the nutrition assessment and workshop, the morning training sessions (yep, really!) and the holistic treatments, especially the hand blended oils Sandra our therapist made for the ladies.

The group left us feeling energised, happy and renewed and we’re looking forward to seeing them again this year. Take a look at our Photo gallery and Testimonials page to find out more.

New luxury venue in Hay-on-Wye now launched!

We’re all very excited about our second accommodation in the stunning location of Hay-on-Wye. Our new venue here is a group of 5* graded luxury conversions set in five acres of impressive grounds located in the stunning Wye Valley, near the Black Mountains and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park – a truly stunning region to escape to.

All rooms are modern, spacious and tastefully furnished and include little extras such as handmade organic soaps and toiletries. After a day of fitness activities, relax by the fireplace or wind down in the terrace overlooking the views across the castle grounds.

The Renew Fitness gang have just returned from our latest course in January - the best course yet! The feedback was great, visit our Testimonials page to see what the ladies thought of their time with us and how we helped them.
